Sr Product Ops Manager - Roundel O&O(Remote Or Hybrid)

About the position


As a Sr Products Ops Manager at Target, you will play a pivotal role in the Product Strategy within Roundel, which is responsible for delivering business outcomes through external vendors, internal products, and partnerships. Your primary function will be to serve as a trusted advisor to the product portfolio, utilizing data and insights about users to inform discussions and decisions. You will leverage your product experience to engage with various levels of the product team, facilitating the creation and implementation of routines that embody product thinking and align with Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). Additionally, you will be instrumental in developing portfolio-level intention maps that enhance collaboration across product teams. Your responsibilities will include bringing visibility to dependencies and risks across the portfolio, as well as providing insights into progress through metric visualization and analysis of Product Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). You will collaborate extensively with product and operations teams to enhance core competencies in strategic planning, portfolio health, and effective communication. A key aspect of your role will be to develop a communication framework that offers transparency regarding the progress and KPIs associated with technical investments. This will involve analyzing pricing trends and preparing data to inform strategic decisions. You will also own portfolio health metrics and provide measurement support, while consulting and coaching on product insights. Advocating for best practices in tools, processes, documentation, and communication will be essential, as will educating product and business stakeholders on core product skills. You will manage the O&O support Slack channel, assist trading teams with campaign troubleshooting, and monitor O&O relationships, including spend, rates, and yield. Furthermore, you will provide visibility and progress updates to key stakeholders through a monthly newsletter. It is important to note that the core responsibilities of this position may evolve based on business needs.

Requirements




  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience.
  • ,

  • 6+ years of experience across product, operations, digital media, or analytics (or a combination).
  • ,

  • Strong data and analytical skills with the ability to turn data into insights to drive product outcomes.
  • ,

  • Experience working in an agile environment (e.g., user stories, iterative development, scrum teams, sprints, personas).
  • ,

  • Strong ability to self-organize and lead through ambiguity.
  • ,

  • Ability to communicate complex concepts in easy-to-understand terminology across Sr. Leadership, Operations, Product, and Technology.
