Warehouse Supervisor 3rd Shift
Overview: The Warehouse Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing daily operations within the warehouse facility. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, this position is responsible for coordinating and supervising warehouse activities to ensure efficient and timely receipt, storage, and distribution of goods. The Warehouse Supervisor will lead a team of warehouse associates, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, inventory accuracy, and productivity targets. What You'll Do: Supervise and lead warehouse staff, including assigning tasks, providing training, and monitoring performance to ensure productivity goals are met. Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping of orders. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness among warehouse personnel. Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and periodic physical inventories. Optimize warehouse layout and storage procedures to maximize space utilization and efficiency. Monitor equipment maintenance and repair needs, coordinating with maintenance staff as necessary to minimize downtime. Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics, purchasing, and customer service, to meet customer demands and resolve operational issues. Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to warehouse operations, quality control, and security. Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction initiatives within the warehouse operation. Provide regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as order accuracy, on-time delivery, and inventory accuracy, to the Warehouse Manager. What You'll Need: High school diploma or equivalent; Proven experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with inventory management best practices, including FIFO, JIT, and lean principles. Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, safely and efficiently. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Understanding of OSHA regulations and other safety standards applicable to warehouse operations. We'd Like to See: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred. Certification in warehouse management or related field (e.g., Certified Warehouse Manager, Certified Logistics Professional) is a plus. We are our people! We love food. Especially Mexican Food.
