As the fastest growing mental health practice group in the country, now is the perfect time to join our corporate team! </span></p><p><br></p><p><b>ROLE OVERVIEW </b></p><p>The Billing Coordinator assists the enterprise Billing team with accurate, detailed, and thorough medical billing processes.&nbsp; Working in coordination with the Billing leadership team, utilize billing knowledge to ensure the timely and accurate processing of patient accounts.&nbsp; The ideal candidate will be someone who has a strong desire to work individually while meeting the needs of a national organization.&nbsp; An important key requirement is the self-accountability to drive success in a virtual team environment.&nbsp; This position is a remote role with the ability to sit within any US locality where LifeStance is represented.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><b>BENEFITS</b></p><p>As a full-time employee of LifeStance Health, the following benefits are offered: medical, dental, vision, AD&amp;D, short and long-term disability, and life insurance. Additional benefits include a 401k retirement savings with employer match, paid parental leave, paid time off, holiday pay and an Employee Assistance Program.</p><p><br></p><p><b>HOURLY PAY: </b>$18-21/hour<b>&nbsp;</b></p><p><br></p><p><b>RESPONSIBILITIES</b></p><p>-Maintain current information on correct and lawful practices for billing payers&nbsp;</p><p>-Clearinghouse knowledge to analyze and update claims received from claim submission exclusions&nbsp;</p><p>-Verify patient information to ensure it is complete and accurate; update patient information regularly to reflect changes in their demographics while ensuring patient privacy&nbsp;</p><p>-Submit paper claims where exceptions are needed&nbsp;</p><p>-Knowledgeable with EAP process, coding, and claim submission&nbsp;</p><p>-Work with provider submitted charges to ensure accuracy and timely claim submission&nbsp;</p><p>-Resolve billing issues and coding discrepancies with appropriate communication to the various parties&nbsp;</p><p>-Other duties as needed</p><p><br></p><p><b>SKILLS &amp; EXPERIENCE</b></p><p>-High school diploma or GED equivalent required&nbsp;</p><p>-1+ year of experience in a medical billing role&nbsp;</p><p>-Previous experience with an electronic medical/health record&nbsp;</p><p>-Understanding of associated privacy legislation related to healthcare information, i.e., HIPAA&nbsp;</p><p>-Strong attention to detail&nbsp;</p><p>-Demonstrates awareness, inclusivity, sensitivity, humility, and experience in working with individuals from diverse ethnic backgrounds, socioeconomic statuses, sexual orientations, gender identities, and other various aspects of culture&nbsp;</p><p>·&nbsp;LifeStance is an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of age, race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, national origin, protected veteran status, disability or any other legally protected status.</p>n<p><p><br></p></p>n<p><span style="font-size: 10pt">LifeStance Health (NASDAQ: LFST) is one of the nation’s largest providers of virtual and in-person outpatient mental health care for children, adolescents and adults experiencing a variety of mental health conditions.
