This position will support the F-35 Program at our Misawa AB, Japan location. The selected candidate will serve as the main supply chain logistics liaison for our F-35 internal and external customers and our strategic partners across the fleet. The selected candidate will function as the Lockheed Martin subject matter expert (SME) for fleet supply chain management initiatives and customer engagement. This position will also be responsible for briefing senior level management on key performance indicators and supply chain metrics. Candidate must have strong project management and interpersonal skills and be able to work in a fast paced and fluid environment.What You Will Be Doing
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Monitor aircraft Planned Depot Maintenance (PDM) scheduling, initiation, and support follow on actions
- Providing Mission Impaired Capability Awaiting Parts (MICAP) support
- Analyzing and resolving customer-raised Supply Chain Management (SCM) sustainment issues
- Assist the customer with Part Number and/or National Stock Number clarification
- Providing effective material survey support and management of non-conformance/quarantine issues
- Perform and Reconcile Purchases for the sustainment team.
- Respond to priority customer requests required for mission support, to include after-hours support
- Some travel required; candidates must be willing and able to deploy with customer to possible hazardous duty locations. Long term deployments may be required.
- Applicant must be able to work and communicate well both orally and written in a team environment as this position involves significant and continued interface with customer personnel at all levels.
- Selected candidate must be willing and able to work other shifts as needed.
- Must be able to obtain F-35 Special Program Access. Must have an active Secret Security Clearance. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that will require special access.

- At least 8 years experience with Supply Chain Logistics and Inventory Management
- Experience with Mission Impaired Capability Awaiting Parts (MICAP) support, component repair cycle management, and Target Stock Level management
- Experience with data analysis and metrics development, tracking, and reporting
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Prior Field Service Rep experience in a PDM environment
- Experience supporting Performance Based Logistics (PBL) or Supply Chain Management concepts and performance requirements
- Knowledge of the following management systems: ALIS, SAP, GOLD, GOLDESP, FEDLOG
- Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
