Job description: Quality Crew Lead - Currently Hiring!
- 2-2-3 schedule: 2-week cycle
- Week 1: 2 days on / 2 days off / 3 days on
- Week 2: 2 days off / 2 days on / 3 days off
- Shifts: 12-hour shifts
- Day Crew - 6am to 6pm
- Night Crew -6pm to 6am
- Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedule
- Set daily / weekly / monthly objectives and communicate to employees
- Lead and develop crewmembers, creating equipment and system ownership
- Work directly with crewmembers, supervisors, and managers to meet quality goals
- Evaluate job performance of quality techs
- Ensure all personnel safety and food safety procedures are followed rigorously
- Drive continuous improvement of waste elimination
- Anticipate problems and make quick decisions under time pressure
- Must be able to perform all jobs on the lines and be able to coach others in work
- Lead daily direction setting meetings when required
- Provide verbal and/or written recommendations to leadership concerning problems or issues
- Able to frequently lift and / or move up to 60 pounds
- 1 year of quality experience in production/manufacturing.
- Able to work safely in an environment where regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts
- Able to work safely in an environment when exposed to wet conditions
- Able to be certified to operate a forklift or pallet jack
- Able to perform quality / procedural checks as well as operate equipment
- Proven experience in leadership / supervisory roles
- Strong people skills and ability to deal with all levels of employee and management groups, both on site and remote
- Demonstrate strong accountability, consistency, and follow-through skills
- Must be able to speak, read and write in English for safety and quality reasons
- Have knowledge of sets up, operations, adjustments to equipment or machinery
- Proficient with: Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and designated inventory systems
- Strong planning, organizing, problem solving, math, and communication skills
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Preferred: HACCP certification, PCQI certification, Allergen Control training, 21CFR Part 110 training certification
