Job description: SummaryThis position will be assigned to the Air Force Service Center at Port San Antonio, TX.This is a regular full-time category position with guaranteed 40 hrs. per week. Employees appointed to a regular category position are eligible for benefits.Overview

Experience with contracting principles, policies, and procedures. Leadership experience as a contracting professional achieving program results across complex and diverse organizations, ensuring the office's mission and objectives are met. Experience with business practices and market conditions as applicable. Experience with applying contract price/cost analysis techniques to a variety of pre-award and/or post-award procurement actions. Experience leading junior contract specialists.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's):
Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: * Bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution or at least 24 semester hours of course work in business management topics.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and other related software.
- Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Experience managing procurements for Information Technology systems.
- Held a lead contract specialist role for a complex Request for Proposal.
- Experience with cradle to grave procurements, meaning from project inception to close-out.
- Experience serving as a business advisor to program officials.
- Experience conducting briefings and/or presentations to senior-level management.
- Individual must fully meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. Territory for three (3) or more consecutive years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation or a signed memorandum indicating the installation's decision on the 3-year residency requirement..
