Job description: The AVP of Transfer and Online provides visionary leadership and strategic oversight for the college's Transfer and Online division. This role is responsible for aligning divisional goals with the institution's mission and strategic plan, while fostering academic innovation and student success.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic planning and implementation for AA, AS, transfer and online programs.
- Oversee the Teaching, Learning, and Assessment Center and online instruction.
- Coordinate faculty professional development and training across Academic Affairs.
- Provide oversight of the Academic Advising Center.
- Manage articulation agreements to ensure seamless student transfer pathways.
- Supervise faculty and staff, promoting professional growth and collaboration.
- Ensure academic programs meet accreditation and industry standards.
- Use data to drive decisions, assess outcomes, and report on progress.
- Collaborate with student services to enhance enrollment, retention, persistence, and graduation.
- Engage with local high schools, and the Early College Team to strengthen program relevance, access, and pathways to transition from Early College to College.
- Develop and manage budgets, advocate for resources, and ensure policy compliance.
Master's degree in a related discipline, plus six (6) years of progressively responsible related work experience.Internal posting only.
