As an Office Manager, you will be part of an organization with a strong focus on providing exceptional customer service for high-quality, made-in-America products. This role is responsible for directing the Customer Service function of a Champion store, supervising a small office staff, performing the accounts payable and accounts receivable entry, and supporting the corporate Human Resource department at the local levels.Pay Range: $63,000 - $65,000 per yearResponsibilities
- Accounts receivable payment and invoice entry in Dynamics AX
- Accounts payable invoice entry in Dynamics AX
- Access database entry
- Prepare month-end schedules and work with centralized accounting team to prepare accurate and timely monthly financials
- Coordinate with remote teams to ensure Champion process and policies are being upheld
- Provide supervision, assistance, and training to office staff on how to deliver the best customer service and address issues as needed
- Investigate customer issues and find solutions
- Communicate with customers via phone and email using the Champion script
- Comply with proper vendor and subcontractor documentation and recordkeeping (W9s and Certificate of Insurance)
- Retain and manage employee documentation, required recordkeeping and confidential employee files
- Provide support to centralized Accounting and Human Resources departments
- Complete the local payroll responsibilities
- Ability to lead a team and ensure customer service excellence
- Associate degree or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of relevant customer service and basic bookkeeping experience; 2 years of supervisory experience preferred
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Comprehensive problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to work daily with remote locations
- Desire to work as part of a team to improve current processes and systems
- Ability to build professional working relationships with all levels of the organization
- Proficiency in MS Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
- Completion of a standardized accounting test, minimum score required to qualify
- Experience with job cost analysis preferred
