In this role, you will work closely with decision-makers across federal sectors—defense, intelligence, and civilian—to identify needs and align cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions to their missions. You'll develop strategic territory plans, manage key relationships, and drive the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to closing. This is a high-impact position offering the opportunity to work with a team committed to software security innovation at the highest level.Accountabilities:
- Own the full sales cycle with U.S. federal agencies, from strategic prospecting to successful closure
- Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders in security and technology departments
- Drive revenue through both new client acquisition and account expansion within existing partnerships
- Collaborate with internal teams—Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Channel Partners—to deliver client-focused solutions
- Maintain a healthy pipeline and exceed quota targets through proactive sales strategies
- Ensure all opportunities are tracked, forecasted, and documented using Salesforce and related tools
- 5+ years of successful experience selling security software to federal clients, especially in Defense and Intelligence sectors
- Strong understanding of federal procurement processes, regulations, and contracting structures
- Proven success managing complex sales cycles and forecasting opportunities
- Background in SOAR, SIEM, or Application Security is preferred
- Experience building a public sector sales function in a startup or scaling environment
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Familiarity with Salesforce and related CRM platforms
- A current federal security clearance is highly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or related field preferred
- Competitive base salary of $135,000 – $145,000
