This leader will initially oversee the operations of approximately 120 managed apartment units across 3 properties and support future growth within the market. These properties will span the range of Mint House's varying operating models from properties with full tech automation to properties with on-site front-desk presence. The Market Lead will continuously enhance the guest experience while simultaneously optimizing and streamlining operations to drive strong financial performance.AT MINT HOUSE YOU WILL
- Hire, oversee, motivate, and train team members and third-party vendors on all Mint House's SOPs and programs; provide ongoing communication to the team in order to deliver a tech-forward, personalized, and authentic guest experience.
- Cultivate a service-oriented culture that amplifies diverse voices and fosters an inclusive work environment with a highly motivated and energetic on-site team.
- Ensure the entire team and property are ready, willing, and able to maintain a consistently high level of service and meet Mint House's brand standards.
- Ensure a great guest experience at all properties, maintaining and constantly enhancing NPS and customer reviews.
- Own all aspects of units and guest spaces throughout the market; managing day-to-day activities, ensuring smooth workflows, addressing operational issues, collaborating with Guest Care, Finance, and Commercial teams to optimize guest experiences, customer reviews, occupancy and revenue, and employee engagement.
- Accountable for maintaining 24/7 operational oversight, including responding to emergency and or critical matters outside of standard business hours. Required to proactively arrange appropriate coverage, whether through local leadership, peer support, or remote team members, during time off or scheduled PTO to ensure seamless market operations.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and quality.
- Manage operational costs within budget and continuously strive to streamline costs and improve property profitability while delivering an exceptional guest experience.
- Source and manage key vendor relationships, including third party housekeeping and maintenance vendors.
- Ensure apartments are well-maintained and restocked with various items and support and perform housekeeping duties when needed.
- Understand and practice local and state regulations pertaining to short-term rentals.
- Develop strong relationships with multifamily property management teams. Plan and host resident events to bring awareness of Mint House to long term building residents.
- Interact with guests to obtain feedback about their experiences on the property.
- Collaborate with other Mint House Market Leads to share best practices, support each other, and fuel the broader success of Mint House.
- Foster and maintain close work relationships with HQ, facilitating effective communication and collaboration to promote feedback, cross-training, and efficient operations.
- Support future growth in the market by supporting HQ, Development & Expansion with attending and providing feedback on site visits for pipeline properties, supporting operational inputs to underwriting models, and partnering with Expansion on the opening of any new properties in the market.
- Support Revenue Management and Sales teams in the development of effective pricing strategies, balancing seasonality, customer segments, property objectives, and customer satisfaction.
- Support the commercial team in activities aimed at growing revenue and brand position.
- Participate in pod call meetings to discuss Revenue and Sales forecasting, as well as operational requirements.
- Conduct sales tours for various customer segments under the guidance of the Sales team.
- Extensive hands-on leadership experience in hospitality operations, with a strong commitment to actively coaching and developing team members, fostering a culture of growth and excellence. Pre-opening hotel experience is valued as an additional asset.
- Financial acumen; will be responsible for the financial health and success of the property, with responsibility for operating expenses and capital investment planning.
- Proven track record of cultivating, managing, and owning high-level relationships both on-site and with external partners, fostering collaborative partnerships for operational success.

- Tech Savvy to manage all inventory of systems and products like keypads, locks, and key access boxes.
- Be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
