This individual will be responsible for initiating and implementing systems and plans that bring clarity to the essential components of a successful, vision-driven company.The President/COO will serve as the cohesive force within the organization, seamlessly integrating major business functions such as deal execution, marketing, sales, and business development. This role is pivotal in translating overarching ideas into actionable plans and ensuring that daily operations align with long-term growth objectives.A successful hire would drive accountability, expectations, and culture that enable the firm to achieve its goal.Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning & Execution
  • Act as the key link between the Visionary and the leadership team, ensuring strategic visions are executed
  • Create a comprehensive 5-year business plan to achieve goals, milestones, and individualized targets
  • Own the company's operating plan and ensure progress on Rocks and KPIs
  • Identify and implement key metrics for tracking, demonstrating effectiveness in metric selection and tenacity in execution based on the business plan
  • Be hands-on in enacting key changes and solving problems for the business, employees, and clients
  • Facilitate quarterly and annual planning sessions using the EOS Process
  • Communication & Alignment
  • Ensure consistent messaging and alignment throughout the organization
  • Align employee motivations and incentives with Embarc's success through detailed metrics and cultural values
  • Foster a healthy, functional, and cohesive leadership team
  • Lead the senior management team, holding them accountable and removing obstacles to their success
  • Ensure adherence to core processes and create communication plans for seamless integration
  • Leadership Team Management
  • Drive the execution of the Visionary's vision by aligning all departments and holding them accountable for results
  • Lead, manage, motivate and mentor the current and future leaders across operations, execution, and client-facing roles
  • Ensure the right people are in the right seats, using the EOS tools
  • Serve as the cultural and operational anchor, fostering cross-functional alignment
  • Identify, prioritize, and resolve critical issues, demonstrating the ability to address high-impact conflicts and drive timely resolutions
  • Daily Operational Execution
  • Oversee daily operations and develop major operational functions and projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
  • Drive consistency and scalability through process documentation and improvement
  • Report on business performance metrics and drive improvements
  • Ensure alignment towards common goals and budget adherence
  • Facilitate smooth collaboration processes, ensuring predictability in leadership intervention and autonomy
  • Solve issues quickly and effectively, fostering a culture of problem-solving
Key Competencies & Characteristics:
  • Strong strategic thinking and execution capabilities in a fast-paced, dynamic, and entrepreneurial environment.
  • High emotional intelligence with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Willingness to develop a deep understanding of Corporate Development, M&A and Investment Banking workflows, Strategic Finance requirements, client service, and Business Development cycles

  • Disciplined, focused, and results-driven, yet creative in finding solutions and metrics for continued improvement and target achievement.
Experience & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a President/COO, General Manager, or similar leadership role.
  • Strong track record of operational, organizational, and team leadership excellence.
  • Experience driving BD or marketing success in a services-based environment.
  • Detail-oriented and process-focused with strong financial acumen.
  • Proven ability to resolve conflicts and make tough decisions.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, economics, social science, mathematics, or business preferred.
