What You'll Be DoingLead the development of comprehensive electrical design packages suitable for PE stamping and plan check submittals.Create and manage detailed documentation including:Load studies, single line diagrams, conduit/cable schedulesPlot plans, lighting, grounding, and equipment installation detailsBills of material and construction specificationsPerform site walkdowns, factory acceptance testing, and commissioning support for power systems.Collaborate with project managers to maintain quality, budgets, and schedules.Support proposals, technical scoping, and cost estimation for new project opportunities.Provide occasional after-hours support to internal or external clients.Travel up to 25% as needed (including air travel) for site visits and client work. Technical Experience We're Looking For5+ years of experience designing electrical systems for heavy industrial environments.Knowledge of NEC, IEEE 3000 Series, and (ideally) API 500 standards.Proficiency with:AutoCAD and Microsoft ExcelPower system modeling tools: ETAP, SKM, or EasyPowerRelay settings: GE Multilin and SELExperience with area classification drawings, motor schematics, and lightning protection is a plus.Strong technical communication and documentation skills are a must. Education & LicensingBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering required.FE certification required.
