Job description: Our client, a local managed service provider, is expanding their Support team. They've been a trusted presence in the Fort Worth/Dallas area, supporting a wide range of clients with their IT initiatives. Their customer base spans large enterprise organizations, oil and gas companies, as well as small to mid-sized businesses.They are seeking a Support Engineer with a strong background in Windows-based technologies. This Tier 2 role involves user account setup, troubleshooting, provisioning equipment, and performing hardware/software installations. You'll work with technologies such as Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory, Group Policy, O365/M365, and Exchange. As this is a client-facing role, excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor are essential.This is a 3–6 month contract-to-hire opportunity. During the contract phase, the pay rate will range from $17-20/hr. Upon conversion, the full-time salary will be between $37-40K, with potential for a bonus. The role is fully onsite, Monday through Friday, at their Fort Worth headquarters.Required Skills & Experience
- 1-2+ years of experience in a technical support role
- Strong Tier 1 support capabilities
- Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft and Windows environments
- Familiarity with:
- Active Directory
- Group Policy
- Office 365 / Microsoft 365
- Outlook
- Experience providing remote desktop support
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts is a plus
- 3–6 month contract-to-hire
- $17-20/h contract rate + overtime potential
- $37-40K conversion salary + potential end-of-year bonus
