The ideal candidate has the ability to plan, prioritize, execute, and manage large projects to deliver network services as well as deep technical knowledge supporting Full Stack development and developer productivity platforms with a strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.Position ResponsibilitiesAs an Engineer II, you will:Scope, design, and build scalable, resilient distributed systemsEngage in cross-functional collaboration throughout the entire software lifecycleBuild product definition and leverage your technical skills to drive towards the right solutionParticipate in design sessions and code reviews to elevate the quality of engineering across the organizationUtilize programming languages like GO, Java, Typescript, React, HTML, Python, C# or other object-oriented languages, SQL, and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of Azure tools and servicesConsistently share best practices and improve processes within and across teamsQualificationsProgramming experience with at least one modern language such as GO, Java, C++, Python or C# including object-oriented designUnderstanding of micro-services-oriented architecture and extensible REST APIsUnderstanding of micro frontendsExperience contributing to the architecture and design of new and current systems (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling)Experience writing highly complex YAML pipeline/workflow code in GitHubExperience writing highly complex docker files or other containerization technologies such as Podman, Kaniko, containerd, etc.Experience writing highly complex YAML code for containers orchestration on different compute platformsUnderstanding of DevOps Concepts, Cloud Architecture and Azure DevOps Operational FrameworkIntermediate PowerShell scripting skillsExperience in Datacenter structure, capabilities, and offerings, including the Azure platform and its native servicesUnderstanding of security protocols and products: understanding of Azure Active, Directory, Active Directory, Windows Authentication, SAML, OAuthIn-depth knowledge of CS data structures and algorithmsKnowledge of developer tooling across the software development life cycle (task management, source code, building, deployment, operations, real-time communication)Strong problem-solving abilityStrong oral and written communication skillsAnalysis and Estimation skillsAbility to excel in a fast-paced, startup-like environment Experience2+ years of professional platform development or general development experience2+ years of experience with architecture and design2+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service2+ years of experience in open-source frameworksEducationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience#LI-RP2Annual Salary $75,000.00 - $160,000.00The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate.
