- Ensure compliance and reporting issues and concerns within the organization are being appropriately evaluated, investigated, and resolved.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
- Perform scanning duties as needed, handling confidential documents and files with sensitivity
- Back-up Reception as needed for lunch/breaks
- Ensure eligibility verification for new hire processing, process employment documents
- Handle employment-related inquiries from employees via phone and email, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills; integrity
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; professionalism
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Expected salary: $15 - 17 per hour
