Primary job responsibility is to monitor both behavioral health and educational goals, ensure goals are implemented with fidelity and documented accurately by educating and leading a team of Behavior Technicians. The Clinic Coordinator will also facilitate group instruction to individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders and related disorders using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. Clinic Coordinators will attend regular meetings with Intervention Specialists, Center-Based Clinicians, Behavior Analysts and Clinic Director.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Major tasks, duties and responsibilities:Primary responsibilities:Implement and assist in the development of behavioral health goals and objectives in conjunction with the Center-Based Clinician and Behavior Analyst, ensure behavioral health goals are implemented, and provide daily documentation on progressImplement and assist in the development of educational goals and objectives in conjunction with the Intervention Specialist and Behavior Analyst, ensure educational goals are implemented, and provide weekly documentation (at minimum) on progressFacilitate group instruction opportunities consistent with consumer’s behavioral health and educational goalsDirectly lead, manage and mentor a team of Behavior Technicians to ensure fidelity of educational/treatment implementation and documentation, aid in professional development and support the day to day operations of the treatment teamResponsible for following all Boundless policy and procedures found in the employee handbookResponsible for following ASP, CARF and Mental Health policies and proceduresDress appropriately and arrives on time to workUses professional language at all times included but not limited to describing the individuals’ deficits and/or behaviorsLift and transport children across the room or as necessary while maintaining their safetyParticipate in all fundraising activities through distribution of materials and informationAll other assigned dutiesQualifications/Education:2 years of Undergraduate Degree or an Associate’s Degree RequiredBachelor’s degree PreferredHold and maintain certification as a Registered Behavior Technician as outlined by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board or,Actively working toward BCBA or BCBA certification (enrolled in fieldwork portion of pursuing the credential)Skills, Knowledge and AbilitiesExemplary attendanceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsOrganizedIndependent decision makerAbility to maintain positive attitude and moraleFlexible, professional and neutralRespect fellow staffProfessional and effective communication with staff, parents, etc.Able to recognize the strengths in their peers, and use them accordinglySeeks feedback and applies itRecognizes problems and looks for solutionsKnowledge of behavioral therapies and provide a good model across procedural applicationsAbility to complete specific projects and train Behavior TechniciansAbility to complete trainings and utilize that information in daily therapiesAbility to perform emergency medical procedures when necessaryAbility to accurately document required therapy data Ability to follow all SBSA policies and proceduresStrong computer skillsProfessional telephone etiquette
