Technical Call Center Agents - Remote work

Volt is immediately hiring for Tier 1 Tech Support Call Center Agent. This is a 100% remote position.
As a Tier 1 Tech Support Call Center Agent, you will:
Receive inbound calls, email inquiries, and chat sessions from end users or company customers seeking assistance with their equipment.
Provide prompt and accurate information to ensure inquiries and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with computer storage devices (both direct and remote) and networking equipment.
Escalate issues to the next support tier as needed.
Assess the skill level of the customer and adjust communication and information accordingly.
Fully document each interaction to provide complete notes for future communication.
This is a full-time opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
Intermediate or higher knowledge of computer storage and networking.
Excellent verbal and written customer service skills.
Ability to communicate with customers of varying skill levels.
Experience with storage file systems, network storage, direct storage, RAID, and networking configuration.
Experience with Linux and mdadm is a plus.
This is a remote work from home position. During Training you MUST have your own laptop, microphone and camera. Training can last up to 4 weeks, depending upon your experience level. Once you pass training, a laptop with accessories will be sent to you
Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour
Shift: 8-hour shifts, 40 hours a week. Shifts will be between 6AM and 9PM CST, Monday Sunday.
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidates education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
