Successful candidates will have experience in mechanical design and drafting, an understanding of mechanical fabrication processes, and a passion for shaping the future of quantum computing infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Design of mechanical components used in quantum RF wiring systems
BOM generation and PDM management of complex assemblies
Ensure drawings and designs comply with company standards and practices
Assist in creating and sustaining mechanical drawings and efficient 3D CAD models
Required Qualifications
Associates degree in CAD drafting, engineering or related field
5+ years of experience in a design drafting role
Proficiency with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, OnShape, Creo, NX, or similar)
Exceptional understanding of metal fabrication techniques and processes
Ability to collaborate with a small team of dedicated individuals to drive successful product releases and documentation
Detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills and time management
Unafraid to adapt, perform, and grow in a fast paced and dynamic organization.
Desired Qualifications
Working knowledge of the ASME Y14.5 dimensioning and tolerancing standard
Base salary $70K/yr - $100K/yr
