Job Summary

You will play a vital role in educating constituents about our retirement benefits and fostering meaningful relationships with key stakeholders. From early career staff to Chief Executive Officers, you will deliver engaging educational programs and provide personalized financial consultations to ensure every member understands the value of our Fund. Additionally, you will collaborate leaders to promote participation in the Fund and contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes and services.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct educational sessions using various methods and platforms to reach different audiences within the community.

Develop and maintain strong relationships leaders, including CEOs and Chief Human Resources Officers, by representing the Fund at meetings and conferences.

Collaborate with Fund leadership to gather and share insights from leaders regarding Fund management and policies.

Assist in onboarding and providing ongoing support to Local Plan Administrators and Human Resource Leaders.

Participate in the design and development of audience-specific educational materials and communication assets.

Ensure accurate and timely processing of contribution changes and other administrative tasks related to Fund participation.

Stay informed about retirement industry trends and changes to effectively communicate with participants and stakeholders.

Conduct one-on-one consultations with plan participants to address their questions and concerns.

Maintain proficiency in all Education and Y Relations systems and processes, providing timely customer service and support as needed.

Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on special projects and initiatives.

Requirements

Education/Credentials:

Bachelor's degree required.

Experience

Minimum 3 years of related experience, with preference for experience in facilitating education or training sessions.

Strong understanding of benefits and pension plan rules and policies.

Ability to communicate complex concepts in clear, understandable language.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Suite or comparable software.

Bilingual communication skills in Spanish are helpful.

Certified Retirement Counselor?? (CRC??) or related certification preferred, or willingness to obtain certification within 1 year in the role.

Other

Up to 50% travel required, including occasional weekends.

Remote position requiring effective time management and workload management skills.
